St. Peter ski resort
The St. Peter ski resort in Giant Mountains (Krkonoše) lies in the altitude of 750 – 1200 meters and is a part of the Špindlerův Mlýn ski resort. The ski resort is serviced by 3 chairlifts and 5 tows. St. Peter, together with Hromovka, offers 12 kilometres of skiing trails on 11 pistes. You can get to the ski slopes on St. Peter from Spindleruv Mlyn either by the Hromovka chairlift, from where you will descend to the St. Peter resort, or by a ski-bus.
St. Peter is one of the best equipped ski resorts in the Czech Republic and as such often holds various sporting events.
Here you can find long artificial snow slopes of all difficulty levels (blue, red, black) from 1.5 to 2.5 km long.
Freestyle enthusiasts can have a romp in a snowboard resort which is located in the upper part of the red piste (4a). It is enjoyable for both beginners and advanced. In the lower part of the red piste (4b) you can find the largest half-pipe in the Czech Republic.
The St. Peter ski resort will also please cross-country skiing enthusiasts. You can enter the main cross-country trail of Krkonoše Mountains at the lower chairlift station and climb the mountain ridges on your own or use the chairlift and be taken to the upper chairlift station on Pláň in the altitude of 1,150 meters.
